A manual for therapists to deliver an individual therapy modality of cognitive-behavioral coping treatment for alcohol use problems. This treatment protocol provides a session by session guide for therapists to do assessment of alcohol and related problems, then CBT, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and Relapse Prevention to attain and maintain abstinence, and also to address co-morbid problems like depression and anxiety.

This is the patient's workbook to accompany the therapist individual CBT manual.  The workbook contains informational handouts and worksheets to learn and practice new skills.  Each patient can use this workbook either in conjunction with therapist's guiding via the therapist manual (recommended), or patient can use the workbook for self-guided change.

Overcoming Alcohol Problems:
A Couples-Focused Program Therapist Guide

A manual for marital/couple or family therapist to deliver this CBT and Motivational Enhancement therapy  for alcohol use problems treatment with a significant other attending all or some sessions to  help the spouse/family member  learn effective ways to support abstinence as well as to repair and enhance the marital/couple/family relationship.  This is  an abstinence-based treatment that helps couples work together to attain abstinence, repair relationship damage, and protect against relapse.
