More Resources for Alcohol/Drug Use & Covid-19

Additional resources are listed below for alcohol/drug use and Covid -19.   Also, evidence-based individual CBT treatment for alcohol and drug use is available via telehealth;  call  (475) 558 9525 or email (Elizabeth.Epstein@CBTofFairfieldCounty.com) to get started with a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss your concerns and recent use patterns.  What to expect at telehealth session 1:   I  will assess your use and risk factors in detail, discuss your drinking/drug use goals, and give my opinion based on 30 years of treatment and research on CBT for addiction. Together we will  make a personalized treatment plan for you (if indicated). Substance use is often triggered or complicated by other issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties.  If this is the case for you, these will also be incorporated into your treatment plan.   Most people are able to eliminate or reduce drinking and drug use and get relief from mood challenges via at-home telehealth sessions.  If higher level of care or concurrent consultation with addiction psychiatrist is indicated, I will help guide you to best matches for reputable treatment.
